This policy explains how the Negative 850 Club ("we", "us") handles information when you use www.negative850.club (the "site"), including the CP Command training game, free Exam Prep and paid Mock Exams.

1. Information stored in your browser

The site works without an account. When you use it, the following is saved only in your browser's local storage on your device:

• The name you type into the engineer profile, which is shown on your screen, on your device's leaderboard and in the watermark on paid exams.
• Your mission, exam, Field Ops and mock exam results, XP and settings.
• Access codes you enter to unlock paid mock exams.

We do not receive this information. You can delete it at any time by using "Lock all exams on this device" or by clearing this site's data in your browser settings. Clearing it also removes your saved progress.

2. Information you give us

• Purchases. Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. Stripe collects your payment details and the information you enter at checkout, such as your name, email address, billing country and postal code. Stripe shares with us your name, email, purchase details and the last four digits of your card. We never receive your full card number. Stripe's handling of your data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.
• Emails to support. If you email support@negative850.club, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message.

3. Information collected automatically

• Hosting. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to deliver the site securely and prevent abuse.
• Fonts. The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which can see your IP address. See the Google Privacy Policy.
• We do not use analytics, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or social media trackers.

4. How we use information

• To process your purchase and send you your access code.
• To answer your questions and provide support.
• To keep records required for tax and accounting, and to prevent fraud and misuse of access codes.
• To send occasional updates about the site, only if you ask to receive them. You can opt out at any time.

5. Sharing

We do not sell or rent personal information and we do not share it for advertising. We share information only with service providers who help us run the site (payment processing, hosting and email), when required by law, or to protect our rights and users.

6. How long we keep information

Purchase records are kept for as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal purposes, usually up to seven years. Support emails are kept for as long as needed to resolve your request. Information stored in your browser stays until you delete it.

7. Your rights, including California residents

Depending on where you live, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask for a copy, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law, and we do not use sensitive personal information. To make a request, email support@negative850.club. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.

8. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and paid exam content is encrypted in the page. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we handle.

9. Children

The site is intended for adults working in or training for the corrosion and cathodic protection industry. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it last changed.
